Toyota Tundra Roof Racks

New in 2023, we also offer our same style of rack for the Toyota Tundra platform. These racks are similar to the Tacoma double cab, but sized specifically to fit Toyota Tundras. Unlike the Tacoma, there are no threaded holes in the roof from the factory, so drilling is required to install these racks, usually a combination of tapped threads and riv nuts. To see more about this process, take a look at the 4Runner installation video, found on the 4Runner racks page.

Note there are different body styles for the generation of Tundra, so when you receive your rack quote be sure to also specify which year Tundra you have, and better yet match that to one of the images in the galleries below.

Flat racks are $975. Full Expo racks with side handles, choice of wind fairing, and side gussets are $1245. All racks come with powder coating, towers, all of the hardware you need to attach the rack to the vehicle, and the rack to the towers. You will need to add your own threaded holes to your roof channel to complete the install, and provide your own riv nuts if using them. installation hole spacing

To install you’ll need to add threaded holes to your roof channel, as mentioned above. You can see this process in the 4Runner install video, the process is essentially the same. https://www.gamiviti.com/4runner-racks. To determine the hole location, you basically have 2 options…

  1. Install the towers to the rack, remove the roof channel cover from both sides, the gently position the rack onto the truck. Dial in the location, tower height, tower positions, etc. then use a marker to mark your locations for holes. Remove the rack, add the holes, install the rack.

  2. Add the threaded holes to your roof first, using the hole template below. Measure your first hole from the very top corner of the windshield, into the roof channel. Every tower requires 2 holes 3” apart.

Our recommendation would be option 1, as you will have a little more freedom for exactly where the rack starts over the windshield, and where the rack ends at the back edge of the cab. But the above numbers are exactly what we used on our Tundra CrewMax install.
