We love solar power when we’re out exploring, perhaps a little too much. You’ve seen solar panels mounted on our roof racks, you’ve seen the solar panel now offered with the new rechargeable solar fridge/freezers. So it’s only fitting that we provide a page dedicated to solar, and offer a small suite of products that best fit our needs to compliment your Lion Cooler, or to build up your overlanding rig with solar power. So another new product for 2019 we are now pleased to offer a full line of solar products from ACO Solar. And while we can offer the entire suite of products from ACO, we have also done a lot of the research for you, filtered it down to what we consider the best and most practical products for our application.
90 watt foldable
We’ll start with the 90 watt foldable solar panel. About the size of a large briefcase, this will shove in just about anywhere, and allow you to power & charge your ACO Lion Cooler directly, with no other accessories required. This could also be combined with another solar system, providing an additional panel to help you charge your system. It provides up to 20.8v of power at 5.1 amps, and weighs just over 6 pounds.

110 watt flexible panel
This is the panel to get for setups where you want a low profile panel solution, such as on top of a RTT, or secured to another panel over or under your roof rack, or some other project where a thin, lightweight, flexible panel is in order.
