Sunroof Covers
You want your rack to have the sunroof opening because you enjoy the view of the stars, or like to kneel up through that opening to bolt on your RTT. Or perhaps you like to stand out the sunroof to take photos, or maybe you just want the piece of mind of retaining an emergency exit. Regardless of reason, having the sunroof opening is great, though it comes with one major downside- as soon as you bolt on your RTT, and realize you're out of roof rack space.
So we have a number of solutions to this problem; a panel version for 80/100 racks, a grid version for all racks, and the plastic grid panel option.
plastic grid panels
These guys are quickly becoming one of our favorite rack accessories, as they are light weight, low cost, and easy to use. Combined with our plastic tube snaps, they become even more useful and fun to use. The grid is just right for providing a little shade to the sunroof glass, yet allowing enough space to still look up to check the weather. Made from 1/2” thick ABS plastic, it’s durable enough to still hold gear on top of the sunroof, and is easy to trim to match the radius of the roof rack, if desired. See more on the grid panel page.

The Panel version can be bolted to any existing 80 or 100 series Gamiviti rack that has the sunroof opening. It highlights include…
Can be made to hinge open, which means you can push it up from the inside without tools.
Provides shade to the sunroof, making the glass and cabin area noticeably cooler.
Strong enough to sit on, it will also support gear bags and other items on top of your rack.
Installation uses rubber-coated pipe clamps, as well as Gamiviti's custom stainless clamps. Same hardware we provide with the bolt-on and snap-on fairings.
The Grid version can be fit to any rack, but must be ordered at the time of rack purchase, since we add light tabs to the perimeter of the sunroof opening to secure it. Few other highlights…
The stronger of the two.. while both are certainly strong enough to sit on and hold camping gear, you can stand on the grid without issue, even strap directly to it.
Can still see through it from inside, when there's nothing on top of it.
Bolts on, so no provision for being able to open from the inside without tools.
