Here’s a head start to a fun diy project, and another new option in 2019. You can now add a set of table slides to your roof rack. Designed with the Gamiviti rack and Tailgater Tire Table in mind, this is a simple solution that could be adapted to other tables, even other racks, with some amount of ingenuity. 2 “Z-Channels” pre-drilled for rack attachment and table attachment points.
2 cross members to keep the channels parallel, and prevent any deflection.
Mounting hardware to connect the cross members and channels to your roof.
