250 Racks

At long last, the new Land Cruiser Prado 250 and Lexus GX550 is out on the market here in the USA, and at Gamiviti we are delighted to bring our expertise and experience, and all of our accessories and innovations to to the new 250 platform. Just like the other roof channel racks, we offer a number of customization options including drop baskets, grid floors, Expo bars, and more… and we also have tapered down those options into three base configurations; Full Expo, Essential Expo, and short rack.

Full expo

Full Expo is shorthand for a raised Expo bar around the entire perimeter of the main flat rack, sloped back in front for the wind fairing, with gussets on the sides. Intended for those who relish the more traditional rack look, or those wanting to haul the maximum amount of gear inside the large basket area. The full expo racks come with 4 slotted plates and 4 sets of roof channel towers per side, the back 3 of which will mount to the factory mounting points. The front towers can be secured with suppled 3M tape, or attached by drilling & tapping threads for a more secure setup. Key features include…

  • Raised rail around entire rack, containing your gear while providing an easy grab handle all around.

  • 4 gussets per side, great for mounting a jack, or attaching a shovel or axe using Quickfist clamps.

  • No drilling required- 6 of the 8 towers attach to factory mounting locations, the forward towers can be taped in place if drilling is not desired.

  • Support for awnings can be achieved by adding our rack receivers to the underside of the rack.

  • Super slim snap-on wind fairing.

  • Free installation assistance in Denver, Colorado for customers able to get here.

Essential expo

The Essential Expo rack for the 250 platform is very similar to the other Essential Expo racks from Gamiviti for the other roof channel racks, including the 100 and 200 series Land Cruiser, Lexus GX470-460, and 4Runner. Essential Expo racks are “expo down,” meaning the perimeter grab handle is lower than the main flat rack portion of the roof rack, and Expo++ meaning it wraps across the front then tapers to end above the rear tires. This configuration provides lower clearance combined with greater functionality and utility, with uses anywhere from supporting tools on the side, mounting tents to the top, or just having an easy to grab handle above every door and rear tire. Key features of of the Essential Expo rack include..

  • 4 towers per side, no drilling required. 6 of the 8 towers attach to factory mounting locations, the forward towers can be taped in place if drilling is not desired.

  • Support for awnings can be achieved by adding our rack receivers to the underside of the rack, or our Hangover brackets to the top side of the rack.

  • Sunroof opening option, reverse light tabs, front light bar tabs 42” apart.

  • Snap on wind fairing - slim or traditional tapered profile.

  • Free installation assistance in Denver, Colorado for customers able to get here.

short rack

Our first configuration for 2024 is the “shortrack,” which at 70” long is really not that short. The idea is to cover the roof from behind the sunroof rearwards, utilizing all of the factory attachment points on the vehicle. This rack requires no drilling, no vehicle modifications, and comes complete with all of the towers and hardware, see the video below for more detail on the rack features. Key features include…

  • Low profile- about 2.5” above the center of the roof at its tallest point.

  • 3 towers per side, provides support for awnings, cargo boxes, ski and bike racks, fuel, recovery boards, tents, and more.

  • Lower expo bars along the sides, creating easy to use grab handles while adding even more utility.
